Excited for the 2012 Presidential Election?
Sorry to break it to you, but democracy alone isn’t protection against tyranny, and definitely not plutocracy. A democratic election never stopped Hitler, Putin, or George W. Bush. They all were elected legally and democratically. Two of them even lost the popular vote. But even though there is a measure and means to hear your voice, they need a way to twist it to their agenda.
If the people are smart enough to govern themselves and choose their own leader we don’t need a middle man, with its hands in both our pockets and the hands of corporations.
Your vote is about as effective as crossing your fingers.
Neither president will cut back on military actions, neither will reduce the prison population to only violent offenders, neither of them will fix our sinking education system. Neither of them will fix any of the real problems that are directly in their control.
If you’re gullible enough to think voting can bring peace, I know a Nigerian prince who will send you $150,000 if you can just send him $10,000 right now.
Stop being a chump.
